SWT-UME Tarpaulin Welding Machine Welding Truck Side Curtain Operation Guide:

1. Preparation

Material inspection

• Confirm the material of the truck side curtain (usually PVC coated cloth or waterproof cloth)
• Check the cleanliness of the cloth and ensure that there is no dust or oil on the welding area
• Prepare matching welding rods (it is recommended to use welding rods of the same material as the original material)

2. Equipment preparation

• Place the SWT-UME welder on a stable workbench
• Turn on the power and preheat to the recommended temperature (usually 350-420℃ for PVC material)
• Adjust the pressure and speed settings according to the thickness of the side curtain

3. Welding steps

• Trim the edges of the two side curtain fabrics to be welded
• Overlap welding area of about 20-30mm (or according to design requirements)
• Fix the welding area with a clip to prevent displacement

4. Welding operation

• Align the welding machine pressure wheel to the welding starting position
• Press the start button and push the welding machine along the welding line at a constant speed
• Maintain a consistent welding speed (recommended 2-3 meters/minute)
• For corners, reduce the speed to ensure welding quality

5. Special parts treatment

• Reinorced parts: secondary welding or wider welding strips can beused
• Joints: cross welding technology is used to enhance firmness
• Perforated parts: reinforcement rings are used after welding
