It has excellent chemical stability and can resist corrosion from a variety of chemical substances; it has excellent anti-aging, anti-ultraviolet and anti-decomposition capabilities, can be used exposed, and the material service life is 50-70 years, providing a good material guarantee for environmental anti-seepage.

HDPE geomembrane has high flexibility, with a variety of specifications and laying forms to meet the anti-seepage requirements of different projects. It adopts hot melt welding, with high weld strength, and convenient and fast construction.

In landfills, the welding process of HDPE geomembrane includes the use of double-seam welding machine, extrusion welding machine and hot blower to ensure welding quality.

Connect geomembranes to form an impermeable layer to prevent landfill leachate from polluting groundwater and the surrounding environment.

Landfills will use roof welding machines that can weld TPO and PVC materials. These welding machines are not only used for welding roof waterproofing membranes, but are also widely used in landfill waterproofing and anti-seepage projects to ensure the sealing and environmental safety of the landfill.

 

(2)Sewage Treatment Plant:

The water pools in sewage treatment plants traditionally use reinforced concrete or earthen pool structures, but these structures have problems such as high cost, complex construction, and easy cracking. HDPE geomembrane can make up for the poor anti-seepage performance of the earthen pool structure itself, providing a low-cost, strong anti-seepage and good chemical stability solution.

In sewage treatment plants, when HDPE geomembrane is connected to the pipeline, a hot air welding gun is used to temporarily fix the pipe sleeve to ensure that there is no hollow part between the pipe sleeve and the pipeline. When connected to concrete, locking strips can be embedded in the concrete and connected by hot melt welding.

The joint welding of geomembranes is the key to anti-leakage, and hot melt welding is often used. The application of HDPE geomembranes in sewage treatment plants can not only effectively prevent sewage leakage, but also reduce sewage evaporation and odor emission, and improve the quality of the surrounding environment.

(1)Anti-leakage treatment of railways and roads:

Geomembrane welding machines are widely used in engineering construction, including railway and highway projects. Welding machine equipment can provide accurate and reliable welding quality in severe working environments.

Geomembrane forms a continuous impermeable layer, effectively blocking groundwater and surface water from penetrating into the roadbed, preventing the roadbed from being soaked and softened by water, and ensuring the stability and reliability of railway and highway roadbeds. Geomembrane is combined with soil and stone to form a composite structure, which enhances the bearing capacity and shear strength of the roadbed, reduces the damage to the roadbed caused by train loads, and extends the service life of railways and highways.

（2）Waterproofing measures for roofs, tunnels, underground water pipes:

HDPE geomembrane has high flexibility, with a variety of specifications and laying forms to meet the anti-seepage requirements of different projects. It adopts hot melt welding, with high weld strength, and convenient and fast construction.

Geomembrane can be used for roof waterproofing, especially composite geomembrane, which performs well in roof waterproofing due to its anti-seepage, anti-leakage and UV resistance. During construction, the geomembrane needs to be laid flat and fit tightly with the roof to ensure the waterproof effect. When welding, use a geomembrane welder or a roofing welder to ensure the welding quality.

Geomembrane welders are widely used in tunnel waterproofing. They can effectively weld geomembranes into a whole, prevent leakage and damage, and ensure the quality of the project.

Geomembrane is also important in the waterproofing measures of underground water pipes, which can prevent moisture penetration and protect the pipeline structure. In this process, the geomembrane welding machine ensures that the joints of the geomembrane are sealed to prevent leakage.

(2)Anti-leakage of canals:

Geomembrane is widely used in channel anti-leakage. Its main function is to reduce water leakage, improve the water conveyance efficiency of the channel, and protect the channel structure. Geomembrane can effectively prevent channel water from leaking from the soil and improve the water conveyance capacity of the channel.

The welding of geomembrane is a key link in anti-seepage engineering. Double-track hot melt welding technology is usually used to ensure the quality of welding. After welding is completed, the sealing of the weld is tested by inflation pressure test.

The use of geomembrane can not only effectively meet the anti-seepage purpose of the project, but also has obvious economic benefits due to its fast construction speed and low cost.

With the increasing awareness of environmental protection, geomembranes play an increasingly important role in environmental protection projects. They can be used not only in traditional environmental protection fields such as water treatment and landfill, but also in new environmental protection fields such as soil remediation and ecological restoration.

（1）Treatment of mining wastewater and waste residues:

Wastewater and sewage generated during the mining process need to be treated through a complete drainage system. Geomembranes can be used to lay drainage pipes and water collection pools to prevent sewage infiltration and leakage, and improve the stability and safety of the drainage system.

Geomembranes are used to fill and cover goafs to prevent moisture from entering the goafs, reduce the risk of ground collapse, and prevent harmful substances from penetrating into the soil, protecting groundwater and the surrounding environment.

（2）Anti-seepage of tailings:

Geomembrane is often used for anti-seepage treatment of the bottom and slope of tailings ponds to prevent the penetration and leakage of harmful substances such as water and chemicals in the tailings pond, reduce the risk of tailings dam failure, and ensure the safety of the surrounding environment.

In ore storage yards and other industrial storage yards, geomembranes are used to prevent harmful substances in the storage yard materials from penetrating into the soil, protecting groundwater and the surrounding environment.

HDPE geomembrane is an environmentally friendly anti-seepage material used for fish pond slope protection and anti-seepage. In addition to being used for fish pond anti-seepage, it can also be used for other aquaculture projects, such as shrimp farming, turtle farming, loach farming and other aquaculture anti-seepage projects.

(1) Anti-seepage of reservoir:

Geomembrane materials are non-toxic and harmless, will not pollute the environment, and are in line with the concept of sustainable development. In the construction of reservoirs, the use of geomembranes can effectively protect groundwater resources and prevent groundwater pollution caused by leakage.

The application of geomembranes in the construction and renovation of channels can prevent water penetration and loss and improve the water delivery efficiency of channels. When renovating old channels, laying geomembranes can improve the anti-seepage performance of old channels, extend the service life of channels, and reduce maintenance costs.

(2) Irrigation system:

In water-saving irrigation technologies such as drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation, geomembranes are used as auxiliary materials to reduce water evaporation and soil loss, protect drip irrigation pipes and prevent them from being damaged. The application of geomembranes in sprinkler irrigation systems can prevent water penetration and loss, reduce water evaporation and leakage, and improve the utilization efficiency of irrigation water.
