Het heteluchtpistool SWT-NS1600BM is geschikt voor het lassen van diverse kunststoffen zoals PP, PE, PVC en is geschikt voor het lassen van HDPE-geomembranen, een waterdicht materiaal dat veel wordt gebruikt in de civiele techniek.

In de civiele techniek wordt de SWT-NS1600BM vaak gebruikt voor het lassen van geomembranen van verschillende diktes, zoals membranen van PE- en EVA-materialen.
